Best of the Languedoc- Amandiers 98 Pts Falstaff

Les Amandiers 2015 is selected as Best of the Languedoc – Dark ruby garnet, violet reflections, delicate bright ocher. Ripe black cherries, cassis and liquorice, fine floral nuances, tobacco-like appeal, a hint of cedar, multi-faceted Syrah bouquet. Juicy, extremely elegant, subtle extract sweetness, convincing aromatic depth, perfectly ripe tannins, silky like a Margaux, sweet currants in the finish, salty and mineral, lingers for minutes, has already reached the first drinking point and has aging potential. A wine not to be missed. Peter Moser Falstaff Magazine
