Les Anciens
Born from nearly 100-year-old grapevines facing south above the village of La Livinière, this Carignan vintage is an ode to our oldest grapevines. Witnesses to the development of the vines, the plots are strewn with dry stones and dominated here and there by “capitelles”, the stone shelters so characteristic of La Livinière, where the winemaker could seek shelter from the wind or store his tools back in the day.
Taste : Nose with aromas of blackcurrant, herbs and sweet tobacco, earth and roasted spices. Les Anciens is medium-bodied, fresh and lively. Aging potential : 3-7 years. Link to certificates
